Dear Friends,

We can hardly believe that it has been over a month since Taylor’s journey on this earth came to an end. The last sixteen months of Taylor’s life were extremely difficult to say the least. But no matter how hard it was for us, we couldn’t have even imagined how Taylor must have felt. All we do know is that we did everything we could to try to fill that time with all that we could to enrich Taylor’s life to the fullest. We would not have been able to do that without all of your support. We were surrounded by an abundance of great friends, family and medical staff. We love and thank all of you.

The support that we have received throughout this entire experience seems to be like a pyramid. We, the four parents, were holding Taylor up to God. The parents were being held up by the love and support of family. Then our whole family was supported by the love of countless friends - old and new - from all around the world. Without one element of this support system, we would not have been able to get through this. We will be forever grateful to all of you.

Amy’s letter covered the individual thank yous beautifully so we simply, but sincerely, echo her gratitude. However, we would like to repeat a very special thank you to Mary Capone for creating this website and doing countless special deeds for us. Thanks also to all the people who helped our family bear the financial strain of all this. May you all be richly blessed for your generous contributions. We truly could not have made it without your unselfish acts of love. Also, thank you to Mark and Victoria Tremonti for the special time you spent with Taylor and our family. Those moments in Florida were truly some of Taylor’s happiest. And finally, to all the people at Howmet Corporation and Enterprise Rent-A-Car, who have shown amazing understanding and support. We are thankful to work for such fantastic companies and with true friends.

We have been through the darkest valley possible, yet Taylor’s light shined brightly illuminating the way for everyone. Her light continues to shine brightly everyday for us and her spirit continues to lead us to live our days to the fullest. We have always done things in the spirit of Taylor and that’s the way we intend to live our lives now - Celebrating the life of Taylor.
